This document provides information on teacher and principal evaluator qualifications. Use this as a guide to maintain your evaluator certification. Contact Krissy at kdarm@roe35.org if you have questions regarding deadlines for evaluator retraining. This document is very helpful regarding what academies you need. This chart is found on the last page of the previous document. 

FY24 Evaluator Retraining Opportunities

AA#1451 - Teacher Evaluator Retraining Domains 1 and 4. This academy will be held virtually on August 15th, 2023.  Register here!

AA#1452 - Teacher Evaluator Retraining: Focusing on aligning teacher development with school improvement goals. This academy will be held virtually on May 7th, 2024.  Register here!

AA#3000 - Using Student Growth Data in Evaluations. This virtual academy will be held on January 12th, 2024.  Register here!

AA#1374 - Implementing a Social and Emotional System School-Wide.

Brandon Wright will provide participants with the research and tools, with a focus on the legal perspective, needed to support implementing Social-Emotional Learning system-wide to improve conditions for learning and student achievement.

AA#2001 - Initial Teacher Evaluator Training.

This two-day Academy is designed for individuals who are seeking the Initial Training Qualification for Teacher Evaluation. All new teacher evaluators in Illinois will need to pass AA#2001 on the topic of Initial Teacher Evaluation training. This training replaces the existing initial teacher evaluation training provided through Growth Through Learning CEC & TeachScape and aligns to the competencies for Part 50, Section 50.420 (a-b). Here are a few options this summer.
