Anyone under the age of 18, must provide information to ICCB before being able to register/schedule GED Testing now. All candidates are to register and schedule for testing using https://ged.com/loginand will find available locations and information about testing through this website. Individuals must be an Illinois resident for at least 30 days and provide the proper identification.
The constitution exam will now be administered by Adult Education and candidates may contact Cindy Lock at (815) 224-0358 for information about the Constitution exam and/or scheduling. GED Testing is now $30 per subject area and payment is made online at the time of scheduling testing.
Once you’ve passed the GED® test and the Constitution Test as required by Illinois Compiled Statutes - School Code (105 ILCS 5/27-3), you should contact the Regional Office of Education (ROE)* for the county in which you reside to request your Illinois High School Equivalency Certificate and Official Transcript. (The fee to obtain a certificate is $10 and it is $8 for an official transcript- exact cash or money order only)
If you have not yet taken the high school level Constitution Test, contact your ROE* for more information on where you can register to do so.

There is a $8.00 fee for a copy of a transcript and a $10.00 fee for a copy of a certificate. In either case, exact cash or money order are acceptable. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED. Individuals who have successfully written this examination and who have secured their High School Equivalency Certificate may request that a transcript be sent to a third party by completing a transcript request form.
